Half Time Advice
"Soccer is how I learned to live; it's how I found my way through life."
- Reid Sipes

OVERVIEW

The Free Kick program is based on a two-pronged system of "edu-recreation" which engages DC youth on and off the pitch.

Each day begins with thirty minutes of high quality math tutoring at Georgetown University, taught by college students majoring or minoring in math.

Our creative curriculum incorporates soccer and athletics into learning. It is also closely aligned with the DCPS standards. Learn more here.

Following each class session, all participants head to the soccer field for ninety minutes of recreational soccer drills, warm-ups, and scrimmages.

College student volunteers share the learning experience with Free Kick participants, offering a safe, healthy, constructive outlet. Learn more here.

Our program is 100% free. Free Kick will provide safe transportation to and from our program, and we will gladly provide free gear to participants when necessary.
